Welcome to Fieravicola Website
| SEE YOU IN 2011. FIERAVICOLA 2009: MORE THAN 8.000 VISITORS. EXCELLENT RESULTS FROM THE NEW SPRING SOLUTION AND FROM INVESTMENTS ABROAD The atmosphere was definitely international this year at Fiera di Forlì on the occasion of the 46th International Poultry & Rabbit Expo where the number of visitors remained unchanged although the Expo only lasted 3 days instead of 4, this year 8.000 visitors, 500 of which were from abroad, and more than 200 one-to-one business meetingsmeetings organized by Fiera di Forlì in the International Expo Area, thanks to the delegations invited by Fieravicola and its partners. Many were the buyers who came to visit the Expo, mainly representing countries of the Mediterreanean and Eastern Europe: Russia and Turkey (for which Fiera di Forlì used the funds for internationalization within the framework of the projects presented with Fiera di Reggio Emilia and Fiera di Cesena), as well as Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Moldova, Serbia, Croatia, Brazil and the Netherlands (Fiera di Forlì implemented a project supported by funds from the Ministry for Foreign Trade together with ICE, with the contribution of Regione Emilia Romagna and the Chamber of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena, and in cooperation with Fiera di Reggio Emilia, Fiera di Cesena and Fiera di Cremona). Very much appreciated were the scientific and technical conferences, which dealt with topical issues such as animal welfare, animal pathologies and scientific and medical solutions, meat safety, the new nitrate rules (that is, the production of energy from animal products), and other important issues that are going to change not only the economic and specific chain scenario, but also, more in general, the scenario of consumers and citizens. "The efforts our organization is putting in place for the future aim at strengthening our relations with international partners and promoting new projects for potential exhibitors and all members of the poultry, rabbit and zootechnical chain - says Mr. Giorgio Lombardi, President of Fiera di Forlì. We will maintain the same direction with the Forum on Agro-food Communication Quality, which was presented to operators on Saturday 4th with a live broadcast from FierAvicola by Tele1, the media partner of Fiera di Forlì, and which we want to become a professional event involving more sectors beyond poultry and rabbit".
