PROGRAMME: At FierAvicola, a top-of-the range exhibition for farming and the food industry in the poultry and rabbit sector, mention will also be made of the agro-food supply chain and its quality. An opportunity for analysis and entertainment will be offered by CasArtusi and some of the most renowned Italian chefs from Romagna. Nutritionists, veterinary surgeons and producers will set the stage for Paolo Teverini and Silverio Cinieri, who will be interpreting the recipes by Pellegrino Artusi, the father of Italian cuisine, by cooking traditional chicken and egg-based dishes. A kitchen set up inside the trade fair halls, the recipes of the father of Italian cuisine, the genuine ingredients of our local production, combining nutritional properties with taste and the culinary art: all this to the benefit and subject to the judgement of attending visitors!

9.30 AM: The system of agro-energies: a resource for livestock enterprises, environmental quality and economic opportunity

TOPIC: The seminar is about the topic of environmental impact in the management of the poultry livestock wastes. Starting with the Italian and EU economic and policy framework, the debate focuses on the technical perspectives of the energy use of livestock fluids, particularly concerning the treatment of nitrogen (Nitrates Directive) State-wide and in the Community. To conclude the frame, some interesting case-histories from the enterprises which are already operating in this sense.
