Fieravicola’s international promotional tour kicks off: first up are Sub-Saharan African countries.

In collaboration with Confindustria Assafrica, an international meeting to involve African countries and illustrate the opportunities that the event has to offer

Cesena (16 December 2020) - On Thursday 17 December, Fieravicola, in collaboration with Confindustria Assafrica&Mediterraneo, will give a presentation of the exhibition, which will be held in Rimini from 4 to 6 May 2021.
This meeting, which will be hosted on a video platform since it is currently impossible to hold face-to-face events, is addressed to Ambassadors of Italy to Africa, local ICE-Agenzia (Italian Trade Agency) offices and the local heads of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. A similar presentation to the embassies of African countries in Italy will follow on 14 January.
These will be two important occasions to promote the event internationally and generate new business opportunities for the poultry industry, with a special focus on technology.
The webinar will be based on the new working method – which proved to be valid – introduced in July in cooperation with Assafrica when Macfrut Digital was presented to the Embassies of Italy in Africa. This innovative format has paved the way for a new form of direct dialogue, bringing together the private sector and the world of economic diplomacy to support the country’s recovery, especially during these times of emergency as the pandemic is still ongoing.

The agenda of the webinar of 17 December
The session will be coordinated by Pier Luigi D’Agata, General Director of Confindustria Assafrica&Mediterraneo, followed by a presentation by Renzo Piraccini, President of Macfrut and Fieravicola, who will illustrate the opportunities available for professionals in their respective industries within the context of a major agribusiness hub.
The session will continue with a speech by Daniela Monti, Commercial Director of Fieravicola, who will introduce the event, followed by several speeches given by companies specialising in technology for the poultry industry. Ambassador Giuseppe Mistretta, Director-General for Sub-Saharan Africa at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will close the session.
The international promotional campaign for Fieravicola will continue with a presentation to Russian industry professionals on Friday 22 January.
