Forty-four participants, including Embassies of Italy in Africa, ICE Offices and other institutions, joined the first event of the international tour presenting Fieravicola

Cesena (18 December 2020) - Forty-four participants, including Embassies of Italy in Africa, ICE - Italian Trade Agency Offices and other institutions, joined the first event of the international virtual tour presenting Fieravicola. Hosted on a platform, it was organised in collaboration with Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo, with the same working method that was successfully introduced in July when Macfrut Digital was presented.
During the webinar, coordinated by Pier Luigi D’Agata, General Director of Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo, interesting insights emerged and wide interest was shown for the agribusiness hub to be created from 4 to 6 May 2021 in Rimini.
The fact that Fieravicola will be held simultaneously with Macfrut, the international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable sector, will make it a major event attracting visitors from all over the world.
Three leading companies in the industry – Valli, Sime-Tek and Omaz – also participated in the event and introduced their technologies for all stages of poultry production, giving practical examples of projects implemented in African countries.
At the end of the event, the ambassador Giuseppe Mistretta, Central Director for Sub-Saharan Africa at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, highlighted the importance of the diplomatic network and the strategic role that the agro-industrial sector plays in this geographical region.
On 14 January, another presentation to the Embassies of African Countries in Italy will be held.
